  We started reading reviews after putting in an application for a beautiful unit at The Morgan and got worried reading complaints about babies not being allowed in the pool. So I asked our leasing agent, in the same email we sent our paystubs, to have in writing what their pool policies are with respect to kids. She completely ignored our question but happily took our paystubs to proceed with background checks.
  
  I called the following day but got a different leasing agent who said there had been a miscommunication with tenants this past summer and babies are allowed in the pool with swim diapers, just not disposable diapers. We felt much relieved.
  
  A day later my husband went to the office to sign the actual lease. He asked about babies in pool again just to be doubly sure. Our leasing agent gave a very vague answer, and the property manager, overhearing the conversation, went over and clarified that babies are not allowed in pools even if they are wearing swim diapers, only potty-trained children are allowed. My husband said "In other words, babies are not allowed?". To which she replied "We cant say that to you but no diapers in pool and only potty trained kids allowed".
  
  Basically, the management's pool policy appears discriminatory against families with babies.
  
  It would have been fairer (though still wrong) if they had informed us during our apartment tour with our 9-month old daughter in tow, that "by the way, this little one is barred from entering the pool for a while".
  
  We withdrew our application. Had we signed the lease, we likely would have to sue The Morgan for potentially violating State and Federal fair housing laws and for engaging in deceptive business practices by failing to disclose policies clearly prior to applications being accepted.
  
  I hope the management revisit their policy as the current practice is highly unacceptable.

  Love the building and concierge 5 / 5 stars. The building manager and her assistant receive a -4 / 5 netting an overall rating of 1 / 5.
  
  The leasing office sent me a renewal letter in September with a drop in rent price but then refused to honor it in mid December when my lease ended.
  
  They then failed to provide me with a new lease dispute me asking for one several times. In turn because no lease was in place for 20 days that spanned across 2 months, they billed my account for 2 months of month-to-month fees (~$1000)
  
  I brought in the family attorney and they immediately knocked $600 off. Leaving me owing $380 plus $1500 in increased rent over the year. When my lawyer tried working them down on that, their response was essentially pay it or move out. Being that it was the middle of a blizzard I paid it and will have to sue them to get my $1880 back.
  
  They will take bits and pieces of your emails and try to use it against you. When you call them out for misquoting you they won't acknowledge it, they'll just tell you to pay the fees or move out and that the month to month fees and late fees are adding up so you better hurry and pay.
  
  The communication in that office is equivalent to a bunch of kindergartners talking through cups connected via string.
