  This is a great local supermarket. The produce is the best in the area and that's what most people buy there. The have a small hot and cold salad bar on weekday afternoons and a large variety of ethnic foods (both European and Asian). Also a good selection of organic and local brands from NY. Unfortunately their prices noticeably higher than other stores in the area so they have a very small amount customers compared to a store like Shoprite.

  Morton Williams is a nice grocery store. Convenient to walk to and has good produce. Collection is good. They have foreign produce - especially East Asian and South Asian considering Newport is predominantly Asian.
  However it's super expensive. Nothing can warrant their exorbitant prices. Also I am not a big fan or their bakery section.
