  Very nice and quiet open space. Huge flags and a very tall statue dominate the park by the river. It's conected with the Liberty State Park by a bridge and you can get good shots of downtown Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and the Verazzano Bridge. There's a picnic area with a playground for kids.
